The cost of the spot depends on the type of vendor you are. The vendor options are below:
|Merchandise / Food / Beverage (sales)||$300 registration fee, plus 15% of gross sales|
|Military / Veteran||$0|
|Display / Informational||$300|
All vendor spots are 10' x 10'. Larger spots are available at $100 per 10'. For example: a non sales ($300) 10' x 20' spot would be an additional $100, for a total of $400. That same spot for a 10' x 30' would be $500.
Power is not available at the vendor spots, so if you need power, you must bring a generator. All generators must be whisper generators, meaning they must be quiet.
Food & beverage vendors are responsible for acquiring all appropriate permits.
Due to a limited availability of vendor spots, a $100 non-refundable deposit is due when you turn in your Vendor Application. This deposit will count toward your total fee, but is non-refundable should you cancel.
The balance of your registration fee (total fee - $100 deposit) will be due opon arrival to setup, or prior.
We also require a copy of your insurance for a minimum of $1 million, listing "Douglas County, The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners, Minden-Tahoe Airport, and the employees, officers and contracters of Douglas County" as additionally insured.
Setup for vendors is on Thursday, from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Friday, from 9 am until noon. All vendors must be setup at this time. There is not enough time on Saturday morning for vendors to setup.
On the mornings of the airshow (Saturday the 13th, & Sunday the 14th), the gate will open at 7 am for vendors to prepare their booths. Vendors must be ready to go by 9 am. All vehicles must be out of the vendor area by 9 am. There cannot be any vehicle movement through the vendor / crowd area after 9 am. Vendor vehicles with Vendor Parking Passes can park in the vendor area, but must remain in the vendor parking until the airshow closes (around 5 pm).
Please be prepared to secure your tent or popup. It can get windy here at the airport, and vendor booths must be secured against the wind. We locate vendor booths on the aircraft tiedowns so that vendors have a method to secure their booths, but you are responsible for ensuring that your booth is secured.
